Job Summary: The cake decorator is responsible for icing, decorating, merchandising, boxing, pricing, and selling cakes in the bakery. Receives product from the bakers, decorates cakes for customer orders, general sales, weddings, birthdays, and special occasions. Takes and fills customer’s orders and keeps the case full of product. Operates icing tools, stocks dollies, mixing machines, mechanical price marking devices, and uses knives and case cutters. Must follow food safety guidelines.
